SNOW, SNOW, SNOW!!!!

I can not remember the last time I saw 22" of snow!!! Yesterday was the first day Mason and I left our house since Monday. I think we were both going stir crazy. I actually went to work and Mason went over to our friend's house. He has never napped at other places very well, but yesterday he slept over 3 hours there!! He must have played real hard with his friend Hunter. When I brought him home yesterday he was such a mess. It was like he didn't want to come back home. He woke up in a much better mood and I took him to Wal-Mart this morning. Boy, was Wal-Mart a nightmare. I usually go to the store on Monday mornings when nobody else is there. I will never go again on a Saturday!!! I exchanged one of Mason's toys he got for Christmas because he already had it. He has some kind of infatuation with balls. Do you know how hard it is to find toys with balls???? Well, I finally found one and he hasn't put the balls down since we got home. I wanted to take him outside in the snow and take some pictures. He would not put the BALL down. He cried every time I took it out of his hands so it was our prop in the pictures. He started off a couple of weeks ago with a cold and horrible cough. They thought he had RSV but he didn't so they put him on some steroids and an antibiotic. He still has a nasty runny nose that is not going away. Today seemed to be the warmest day so I decided to take him outside and get some photos before the next round of snow appears!!!! He had a blast and it was fun seeing him touch the snow and make faces. I can not wait to take him outside and actually play in the snow. It will be so much fun!!! Here are a few that I got.
It is so hard to believe that a year ago this time, Mason was that small. This was his very first snow day and he will have many more to enjoy!!! Time goes so fast that I have to enjoy all of these fun memories with him.
